Chairman Standing Committee on National Food Security and Research MNA Malik Shakir Bashir Awan said that all major infrastructure projects will be completed during tenure of the current government.

He said that motorways would improve communication across the country and bring economic prosperity to the masses, especially those living in far-flung areas

He expressed the views while addressing the inaugural ceremony of the Fesco sub-division office here the other day.

He said that large-scale infrastructure development projects play a pivotal role in boosting economy. He thanked all authorities concerned for playing their role furthering the project. He said that the issue of energy was very serious when the PML-N came to power. He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif worked hard for solution to the issue with help of the China.

He said that during the visit of Chinese President to Pakistan, Pak-China Economic Corridor Package worth $43 billion package was announced out of which 33 billion dollars is the Chinese investment for energy projects. He said that Chinese investment in Pakistan was not merely investment but a splendid gift for people of Pakistan.

He further said that the establishment of the Fesco sub-division office Noorpur Thal was a blessing for the residents of this backward area. “The government is following policy of balanced development of all areas and more funds will be allocated in the new budget for the uplift of Thal,” he added.

The MNA especially thanked Fesco Sargodha Division SE Amil Hussain Siddique for his support and providing guidelines for the project. Speaking on the occasion, MPA Malik Javed Iqbal Awan said that the PML-N government was efficiently fulfilling the mission of public welfare through a number of development projects. Counting the feats of present government, he said that a mega project had been started for providing clean drinking water to people of Punjab. The MPA said that the work on the development projects was continued throughout the province for providing relief to the masses. “Billions of rupees have been allocated for the repair and construction of roads in rural areas under the Khadim-e-Punjab Green Roads Programme’s he added.

Speaking on the occasion the Fesco Sargodha Division Chief Engineer said that the government was taking steps under a comprehensive plan to control the energy crisis and work at various power generation project was in progress.

He said that Fesco sub-divisional office would provide facility to people of Noorpur Thal. Addressing on the occasion, PML-N Sargodha Division General Secretary Malik Muhammad Khalid Awan said that solving problems of the inhabitants of Thal was top priority.

PML-N Tehsil President Malik Manzoor Ahmad Baga said that selfless service to the masses was the trademark of the present government which had completed a number of development projects in Thal.

PML-N Khushab District Senior Vice-President Malik Aziz Hussain Jara also spoke on the occasion.
