Rawalpindi - An ex-service man of Pakistan Rangers has been kidnapped from Kakhari Village while a girl was allegedly raped in area of Sadiqabad, reliable sources told The Nation. Police registered case and started investigation.

According to sources, Nazia Tabassum appeared before Police Station (PS) Mandra and lodged a complaint that her husband Muhammad Saqlain, who was retired from the Pakistan Rangers and performing duty as private security guard in a private company, has been kidnapped by unknown men on 1/8/2016. Police on complaint of the lady registered a case against unknown kidnappers and started investigation, sources said.

In Dhoke Kala Khan area of Sadiqabad, a girl was allegedly raped by a man after kidnapping her with the help of his accomplice. Muhammad Riaz told Police Station Sadiqabad that Rizwan along with Tasawar kidnapped RB from his house during a marriage ceremony and later he raped her in a house in Dhoke Kala Khan. Police booked the rapist and kidnapper and launched investigation.

A man was killed and two others injured in Gujar Khan when trailer hit a motorcycle in Gujar Khan. Police lodged case against the driver and started investigation.

Meanwhile, Regional Police Officer (RPO) Wisal Fakhar Sultan Raja transferred three Inspectors Chaudhry Shahid, Wasim Faraz and Raja Lehrasab from Rawalpindi and posted them at Chakwal. He also transferred Abdul Rahuf and posted him in Attock. Inspector Akhtar Ali was transferred from Attock by RPO and posted him at Rawalpindi. Similarly, RPO transferred Inspector Sadaqat Khan from Pindi and posted him at Jhelum. Inspectors Zulfiqar and Mirza Yasin were called in Rawalpindi from Chakwal.
