KARACHI (APP) - Sindh Law Minister Mohammed Ayaz Soomro has said that some so-called nationalist leaders are trying to raise their political stature by continuously criticising the PPP leadership. They are those leaders who cannot win even a UC seat of their area and have been rejected by people. Talking to media at his office, Ayaz Soomro said that the government will certainly take action against anyone disturbing the law and order in Sindh, no matter which political party he may belong to. We have to provide security to the life and property of people of Sindh and improve the law and order. The Minister said a training programme will be started in Law Colleges in Sindh for the officials of Law Department. He told the journalists that Law Department will hold five major seminars in various Sindh cities on various issues and topics. He informed that 13 various books on law are being translated in Urdu and Sindhi, an initiative on which no attention was paid in the past. According to him the law officers would be sent to Islamabad and Saudi Arabia for Shariat Court Training. Ayaz Soomro said that Sindh Chief Minister has written a letter to the Prime Minister for setting up three Thar coal-based power plants for which China and Korea have shown agreement. This would not only help provide employment to people but also rid them from loadshedding. Law Minister informed that Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University is being established in Larkana as most beautiful among the Pakistani universities. Besides, he said, 200 houses are being constructed in Rato Dero for the poor. On the occasion the Law Minister presented a Rs 0.2 million cheque to Vice-Chairman Sindh Bar Council.
