Former prime minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and former Punjab chief minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi will appear before the National Accountability Bureau on Monday in a graft case for possessing assets beyond their known sources of income.

The National Accountability Bureau has summoned the two on November 6 in a case of misuse of authority and having assets beyond known sources of income.

The two say would fully cooperate with NAB in its investigations as their hands are clean.

The corruption case against Shujaat and Pervaiz is part of 179 corruption cases which the bureau had submitted in the Supreme Court of Pakistan in 2015.

According to the latest status of this list, the case against the PML-Q leadership has been at the stage of investigation. NAB had given the date of completing this case on September 30, 2017, but the investigation could not be completed within the given time frame and is still under process.
