LAHORE - The Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) provided emergency service to five dead persons and 499 injured of 589 accidents in the province during the last 24 hours. As many as 104 accidents were reported in Lahore with 132 victims, 79 in Faisalabad with 88 injured and 39 in Multan with 42 victims. According to the data, 498 motorbikes, 70 auto rickshaws, 46 cars, 22 vans, six passenger buses, 17 trucks and 75 other types of auto vehicles and slow moving carts were involved in aforesaid road traffic accidents.  Rescue 1122 staffers have shifted all injured to different hospitals of the province.
