LAHORE - Former Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani has said that the PML-N government has failed to honour promises of solving problems of the masses which now stand enormously aggravated.

Talking to the media on Saturday, the PPP leader said that it was the constitutional right of every party to protest and no one should object to that. The former premiere said that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) had no part in the ‘Go-Nawaz-Go’ slogan and any movement against the government, however, his party was standing with the people and the democracy. He said that the slogan was a divine retribution as the PML-N in the past had been making such slogans against Asif Ali Zardari. To a question, he said he said the PPP did not want midterm elections as it was up to the will and choice of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. He said that the PML-N government had failed to make its promises to the people, adding that the party which fails to act upon its manifesto always gets into trouble. He said the N-government was suffering for the reason it failed to act upon it manifesto.
