PESHAWAR - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPA Javed Nasim Saturday raised a slogan ‘Go Khattak Go’ against his party’s elected Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak here on Saturday.

Sitting on ground outside the Peshawar Press Club here, the PTI lawmaker said that he will expose the “self-interests serving group” around party chief Imran Khan.

He claimed that the provincial government has failed to end the ‘status quo’, adding the statue-quo was still exists in the province. “A group of self-interests saving people is around Imran Khan, who don’t let anyone to meet party chairman, he said.

The protesting MPA said that Khattak disappointed the nation, and now the disappointed nation wants to get rid of the CM.

Nasim also said that the bills passed in the assembly were yet to be implemented, whereas no practical steps were taken to eradicate corruption from government departments, like police and revenue.

The MPA urged Imran Khan to “recognize enemies in the shape of friends”.

On the occasion, Javed Nasim announced to stage sit-in protest on October 15 and produce evidence against the alleged corruption of the provincial government.

However, Khattak countered the allegations saying Nasim wanted a ministry and has started giving statements against the party leadership after not getting the ministry.
