LAHORE – Readers FC won the 1st Bahria Town Challenge Cup Football Tournament after crushing PAF FC Cantt by 2-0. Both the finalists took an aggressive start and made a lot of dangerous moves, but at the end, it were Readers FC who lifted the trophy. Reader scored both the goals in the dying moments of the second half. Bahria Town Lahore administrator Brig (r) Syed Ahad Muzaffar Shah was the chief guest at the final and distributed certificates among the prominent players of the tournament. He always gave away trophies to the best player and goalkeeper of the tournament, and top scorer of the event. Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest said: “Bahria Town wants to promote sports and thanks to the Almighty that we are running international level cricket and football academies.”–Staff Reporter
