LAKKI MARWAT A Pak army soldier who laid down his life in a search operation against militants in Kurrum Agency was buried in the graveyard of his ancestral village Wanda Kalan near Lakki city with full state honour on Monday. Soldier Abdul Salam was martyred in a roadside IED blast during a search operation against militants in Sadda area of Kurrum tribal agency. His body was shifted to Wanda Kalan where he was laid to rest in the villages graveyard with official honour. Army officials, villagers and people from different walks of life attended the funeral prayers. Later, Lt Col Kashif Sarwer and other army officials laid flowers at his grave on behalf of President of Pakistan, Chief of Army Staff and Commanding Officer.
