CHAMAN (INP) - Supplies to Nato forces remained suspended on the 10th day after the allied forces attack in Mohmand Agency, which left two dozen soldiers killed. Hundreds of trucks with goods and fuel tankers were stranded at the Chaman border. Trucks and containers have been queued up on the road for the last 10 days. On the other hand, the border gates at the Khyber Agency route to Afghanistan are also closed to the Nato supplies. Allied forces deployed in the war-torn country have now started feeling the heat of the supply halt as they are already running low on rations. With no supplies coming in through Pakistan for the last ten days, things are turning for worse for the foreign troops there, said an analyst. As a precautionary measure, Torkham political authorities have sent all the commercial/Nato oil tankers back to Peshawar to avoid any untoward incident.
