LAHORE A 10-year-old adopted son of a local trader, who was abducted for Rs 3m ransom by two gunmen from Naulakha area has returned home, police sources said on Monday. Sources further revealed that the victim family had secured his safe releases after paying Rs3m as ransom to the abductors as per their demand. Police sources said that the adopted son of local trader, Ijaz Butt, was kidnapped by two gunmen from Misri Shah area on Nov 29. On Monday morning, police sources said, the boy safely reached home. Police sources further revealed that the trader Ijaz Butt paid Rs3m as ransom to the kidnappers and secured the release of his adopted son. When contacted, the members of the victim family declined to comment on the payment of ransom amount but confirmed that the boy had returned safely. Ijaz Butt said that his entire family is happy since his son has returned home.
