GUJRANWALA- All Pakistan Silk & Rayon Mills Association Northern Circle Chairman Chaudhry Abdul Rehman has demanded that the federal government should resolve textile sector problems so that it could help boost country’s progress.

He stated this while addressing a meeting of the association. Former President GCCI Sheikh Muhammad Nasim, Ikhlaq Ahmad Butt, Malik Zaheer ul Haq, Haji Muhammad Akram, Haji Muhammad Nawaz Whohra, Malik Amin Naz and Basit Ikram were also present on the occassion. Chairmain urged the government to restore zero-rate of sales tax on textile sector and assured members that their demands had been forwarded to the FBR high-ups for amicable solution.

The members also demanded restoration of social security slab rate as well as continuous supply of power and gas to the industry.
