GUJRANWALA -  The City Police Liaison Committee will be made functional at police station level to facilitate citizens to bridge the distance between police and the citizens, said that city police officer.

It can be beneficial for early disposal of a number of cases relating to businessmen, said CPO Adbul Razzaq Cheema while chairing a meeting at his office. CPLC Chief Ikhlaq Ahmad Butt, Vice Chief Iftikhar Ahmad, Faisal Afzal, Major (r) Anjum Pervez, Amir Aziz and Shujaullah also participated in the meeting.

The CPO hailed the services of the CPLC chief for his contribution in making a Model Police Station in Model Town and hoped that closed circuit television cameras will soon be installed in all the main bazaars of the city. He also announced to establish CPLC at Kamoke and said that it will remain open for 12 hours from 8:00am to 8:00pm. The CPLC assured the meeting of his full cooperation.
