ISLAMABAD:– Muhammad Mudassir Tipu, a senior Foreign Service Officer, has been posted as director general of Punjab Board of Investment and Trade in BPS-20, according to a notification by the Establishment Division. Tipu is a career diplomat and has served in Pakistani embassies in Washington, Beijing and Tokyo. He has also served at several key positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Currently, he is serving as Director China & SCO at the Foreign Office. Official sources said that the Punjab government has chosen him for the assignment due to his

Tipu is an Oxford graduate, holding a Masters degree in Global Governance and Diplomacy from the Oxford University.
