LAHORE - An agreement has been signed between University of London and Education Department for providing training to the teachers of Punjab.

Minister for Education Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan and the vice chancellor University of London signed the agreement in the office of the university yesterday. Administrative officers of the university and various members of Pakistani delegation, currently on a tour to Britain, were present on the occasion.

Under the agreement, the University of London will send its experts for providing training to the teachers while a programme has been prepared for a visit of delegation of teachers of Punjab to the British university.

Mashhood said that process of education reforms will become more effective and accelerated with the implementation of the training programme for teachers.
