LAHORE – PPP Punjab Addl General Secretary Ghulam Mohyuddin Dewan has vowed to keep up political and moral support to Kashmiri brethren for their right of self-determination enshrined in the UN Charter and the relevant UN resolutions.

Addressing at a camp held by  the Azad Kashmir People’s Party to mark the Kashmir Solidarity Day at The Mall here on Tuesday, he demanded India withdraw its troops from held Kashmir and give the right of self-determination to Kashmiris. He said that 800,000 Indian troops had failed to demoralise Kashmiris who were striving for their just right.

PP leader Azizur Rehman Chan said that PPP had always highlighted the Kashmir issue and had been playing its due role in the Kashmir movement.

PP Azad Kashmir Lahore President Farooq Azad said Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto had struggled to extend all kind of support to Kashmiris and the party under President Asif Ali Zardari would continue it till Kashmiris get freedom. Mehmood Kashmiri, Khawaja Bashir, Mehmood Butt, Nadeem Shahid, Ismail Butt, Imran Butt and Saqib Mir were also present on the occasion.
