Lahore – All Parties Hurriyat Conference leaders Syed Ali Shah Gilani, Syed Shabbir Shah and Dukhtaran-i-Millat chief Aasia Andrabi made a telephonic address to the people gathered at the other side of the LoC for expressing solidarity with the Kashmir cause.

Syed Ali Gilani said that Kashmiris must be given the right to self-determination as promised by the UN.

He said India and Pakistan had no dispute except for the right of self-determination of Kashmiris. He demanded that all the Kashmiri detainees should be released, missing people be recovered, and accused of torture should be tried and punished.

He said that Hindu pilgrim arrangements and administration of temples should be handed over to Kashmiri pundits while the Shrine board should be dissolved.

Shabbir Shah said that Pakistanis proved that they had strong bonds with Kashmiris. He praised Pakistanis for highlighting Kashmir issue.

Aasia Andrabi said that Kashmiris never lost hope despite that tens of thousands were killed, maimed and raped. She asked Pakistanis to stop taking apologetic attitude on Kashmir and come up with bold stance to liberate their Kashmiri brethren from Indian tyranny.
