MIRPUR (AJK) - The jubilant population of AJK observed Kashmir Solidarity Day on Tuesday with the renewal of pledge to continue supporting the freedom-loving brethren of occupied Jammu & Kashmir in the collective cause for the achievement of the right to self-determination and liberation from the Indian subjugation.

The day was marked with making a human chain at the District Headquarter Athmuqaam, by a large number of the people from all segments of the civil society to expressed solidarity under the auspices of Neelam District National Events Organising Committee. Addressing the rally, speakers including Chairman National Events Organising Committee Raja Saqib Munir, Presidents of DBA as well as local Traders union and others said that the day marked the reiteration of complete solidarity with the Kashmiri brothers and sisters in Indian Held Jammu & Kashmir (IHK).

Speakers thanked the people and the government of Pakistan for their everlasting unflinching moral, political and diplomatic support to the people of Jammu & Kashmir in their just cause for the right to self determination.

"It is crystal clear that grave atrocities are being committed against the people of Jammu and Kashmir and every day witnesses killings of innocent Kashmiris including women and children", speakers said pointing out that the innocent Kashmiri youth particularly girls and even minors were being disappeared and killed and large scale unnamed graves have been discovered in the occupied valley.
