ISLAMABAD  - The Capital Development Authority (CDA) would complete the expansion of Kashmir Highway project in one-year time.The project would be completed at the cost of Rs4.8 billion. A CDA official said that the expansion work started on 13 February 2012, and added, concrete work on the project would start in March 2013.The CDA official said that Kashmir Highway would be extended to five lanes from 2 lanes on both sides. The CDA has directed the contactors to expedite work on the project so as to complete the preferred project in stipulated time.
