NOORPUR THAL - Khushab DCO Amer Ejaz Akbar along with Assistant Commissioner Ch Ahsan Ullah visited Sasta Ramazan Bazaar which has been established by the TMA at Kashmir Chowk. They inspected the arrangements and facilities being provided to the citizens. They directed special price control magistrates to perform their duty with responsibility to check prices of essential commodities including implementation of Ehtram-e-Ramazan Ordinance and nobody should be allowed to violate it.

They directed that hotels, restaurants and canteens at markets should remain closed till the Iftar timing.

They ordered the officials concerned to come down hard on profiteers and hoarders to provide relief to common man. The DCO warned that such elements would be dealt with sternly. On the occasion, the AC Ahsan Ullah told the media that the police, the Revenue Departments and TMA staff had been assigned their duties to ensure smooth and transparent supply of essential commodities.

TMO Azhar Khan and Tehsildar Mian Muhammad Akram were also present on the occasion.

Meanwhile, the TMO also told that a complaint cell had been set up in Ramazan Bazaar to provide all possible relief for the masses. He said that local traders had set up their stalls in Sasta Ramazan Bazar where pluses, ghee, sugar and other essential commodities are available at subsidized rates. The market committee had also established fair price shops where vegetables, fruits and dates were available, he added.
