Chairman Pakistan People's Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said on Friday that attempts are currently underway to transform the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) into 'the king's party'.

Bilawal Bhutto is currently leading his party's election campaign which he had started from Karachi and visited different areas of interior Sindh.

Before leaving for Rahim Yar Khan today from where he will go to Sadiqabad and then Bahawalpur, the PPP chief claimed that the 'puppet alliance' has, in the past, been behind the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo and ex-president Pervez Musharraf.

He said, "The puppet alliance has favoured Nawaz Sharif and Musharraf in the past."

Bilawal further said talking about dictatorship, "No one willingly remembers [former president] Zia-ul-Haq."

Moreover, he added that the name 'Bhutto' is still alive and remembered today. The public, by standing with Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, has paved way for democracy.
