Lahore High Court (LHC) has rejected the plea seeking disqualification of Chairman Pakistan People’s Party(PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari.

As per media reports, a citizen Syed Iqtidar Haider had filed a petition in LHC seeking disqualification of the chairman of PPP Bilawal Bhutto and Co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari for life time.

The petitioner took the stance that Bilawal Bhutto and Asif Zardari have violated the electoral rules therefore, they should be disqualified for life time from participating in polls.

A single bench of LHC conducted the hearing and rejected the plea after preliminary hearing.
