LAHORE A constitutional petition has been filed in the Supreme Court of Pakistan to seek reopening and re-adjudication upon the case of Indian Spy, Sarbajit Singh, who has been condemned to death for killing dozens in bomb blasts in Lahore and Multan in early 90s. Singh is imprisoned at Kot Lakhpat jail at present. Awais Sheikh Advocate has filed the petition on behalf of Sarbajit Singh at Lahore registry of the apex court. He submitted the real culprit of bomb blast in Pakistan, Manjeet Singh, with whom the petitioner (Sarbajit) was substituted, had been arrested in India in Dec 2010. He said Manjeet Singh real culprit responsible for bomb blasts in Pakistan, the counsel said and pointed out that Manjeet was frequently visiting Pakistan and in 1990 and when the blasts took place he was present in this country.
