KMC administrator Saqib Ahmed Soomro has directed the HRM department to provide the required record to the department concerned but the HRM department declined to obey the directives.

Staffers of local government department are tense following the situation and consider the step a conspiracy against the citizens of the City.

It is pertinent to mention here that a team of Anti Corruption department raided the HRM department of KMC on October 31, where it tried to seize the record of employees’ promotions and appointments over an inquiry of a case of fake employment and out-of-turn promotions of KMC’s officials.  However, the team was unable to get the record as the employees managed to destroy at least 1,000 files from the record room.
