LAHORE - A 28-year-old man was killed by unidentified accused over old enmity in Burki police precincts on Sunday afternoon. The deceased was identified as Mohammad Atif, son of one Abbas Ahmad, a resident of Lidhar village. Police said that the deceased Atif, driver of a private company, was killed at about 3pm when he was on his way back to home. According to eyewitnesses, two accused riding on a bike shot two bullets at Atif and fled the scene, the police added. The locals rushed the injured to a nearby hospital where the doctors pronounced him dead. An Edhi ambulance shifted the body to the City morgue for autopsy. The police said that no case was registered against anyone so far as the father of the deceased could not be contacted. Further action will be initiated on the statement of his father, an on duty police officer said.
