ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Army kids dominated the first day of the NLC National Junior Taekwondo Championship, as they won three gold medals and one bronze medal here at Hamidi Hall, Pakistan Sports Board on Friday. All four poomsae events were conducted on the inaugural day, in which Army maintained its supremacy and managed to grab three gold medals and one bronze medal whereas KPK secured second position with three silver medals while Sindh earned third position with one silver and two bronze medals. IPC joint secretary Khalid Mirza was the chief guest at prize distribution ceremony, while Pakistan Taekwando Federation (PTWF) president Lt Col Waseem Ahmed Janjua, secretary Murtaza Hassan Bangash along with other dignitaries and pack to the capacity crowd was also present on the occasion. –Staff Reporter
