Gujranwala - Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the government will spare no effort to help the flood affectees and all-out measures had been taken to protect the life and property of the public.

He was talking to media men during his visit to flood-affected areas of Kamoke here on Friday. On the occasion, the chief minister also condoled the death of three persons in a roof collapse incident with the bereaved families in Kamoke. The Punjab CM announced Rs5 million compensation for the affected family and assured that one member of the family would be provided with government job. The chief minister also announced free education for the son of deceased.  While visiting the flood affected areas, the CM directed the district administration to take all out measures for the evacuation of people from all affected areas. Shahbaz Sharif directed the officers concerned to establish medical camps and ensure ample medicines and other daily-use items at these camps to facilitate the affected people.
