KHANEWAL - Pakistan junior team has qualified for Asian Junior Table Tennis Championship to be held in India from September 16 after securing second position in South Asian Junior Cadet Table Tennis Championship. Speaking at the press briefing, Punjab Table Tennis Association (PTTA) senior vice president Sheikh Amber Bashir said: “On successful completion of this tournament, we pay tribute to PTTF president SM Sibtain and also congratulate all the players and officials for this remarkable performance.” The table tennis championship was held from August 26-29 in Liaquat Gymnasium Islamabad which was participated by Pakistan, India, Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives and Sri Lanka. Pakistan secured second position in boys’ team event whereas India won both first and second positions.–Anjum Bashir
