She’s famous for flaunting her voluptuous figure. But Kelly Brook has been forced to defend herself against cruel remarks over her weight. After coming under fire from online critics for enjoying a burger during a shopping trip last week, the model has taken to Instagram to address her ‘haters’.

Uploading an image of her looking stunning in an Alexander McQueen creation, the brunette beauty got the last laugh by posing next to a luxury car at a launch for her latest perfume Audition on Tuesday. Alongside the picture, she wrote: ‘Launched My Fragrance today! Picked up my New G! Wore McQueen and ate a Burger inbetween #Curves #Killingit #NoTimeforHaters.’

Kelly refused to be fazed by the cruel remarks as she added a profound quote, which read: ‘Small minds can’t comprehend big spirits. To be great, you have to be willing to be mocked, hated, and misunderstood. Stay strong!’

Her response comes after Twitter users suggested she had put on weight since she was seen covering up her figure during an outing with fiance David Mackintosh.

The pair were spotted shopping at The Trafford Centre in Manchester last Friday, when they stopped off at Burger King and enjoyed a junk food fix.

It was a rare treat for the fitness-focused pair, who have spent a majority of the summer in Los Angeles working out.

It’s not only online haters who have mocked Kelly’s famous shape - Katie Price also took a swipe at the 34-year-old during her Fubar radio show last month.

Claiming that her rival looked ‘bigger than usual’, the former glamour model added: ‘I’m not having a pop at Kelly because I think she’s one of the most beautiful women around, but she does look quite curvy and she’s always in the gym but she’s looking bigger than she normally does.

‘When you look at her campaign pictures she looks amazing and it’s fooling the consumer.’
