ISLAMABAD: Harvard University launched Benazir Bhutto Leadership Program (BBLP) today, an initiative for the people assuming leadership posts in Muslim countries.

The program was initiated by social welfare service organization Class Achieving Change Together (Class ACT HR73). It was formed by class fellows of slain Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Benazir Bhutto at Harvard University.

The aim of the organization is to mainly focus on empowering women, ranging from Lebanon to Bangladesh.

Once the women return home they will be expected to implement their learning in different fields, including politics, public or private organizations to bring positive change in their countries.

The first session of the program would start during the fall of 2018.
