QUETTA - A gas pipeline was blown in the outskirts of the provincial capital on Thursday morning. According to police, unidentified people had attached an explosive to a 22-inch diameter pipeline in Aktharabad area. The blast damaged a three feet long portion of the pipeline, resulting in suspension of gas supply to different localities. Soon after the incident, police rushed to the site and cordoned off the area. Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) sources said the repair work had been started, which would be completed till Thursday night.
