LAHORE - Pak Asia cricket team cruised into the semi-finals of the Lahore Premier League (LPL) after beating Mega Events by five wickets in the quart-final match played here at LCCA ground. Batting first, Mega Events posted 230 for five wickets. Saadullah Ghori was brilliant batsman with his impressive 102 runs while Rizawn Ahmad made 36, Haseeb Bhati and Hafiz Aamir 27 runs each. Roni Gil grabbed three wickets for 25 while Shahbaz Khursheed and Ghulam Rasool got one wicket each. In reply, Pak Asia chased the target in allotted overs losing their five wickets. Irfan Hadier was main contributor for Pak Asia who scored 84 runs, while Sheraz Butt made 44 runs and Atiq Ahamad 30. Rizwan Ahmad clinched three wickets for 31 while Umar Sabir and Khrum took one wicket each. Saadullah Ghori of Mega Events was declared man of the math. At the end, chief guest LCCA Tournament Committee Chairmen Sh Muhammad Sarwar along with Ahmad Ayaz Khan gave away man of the match prize to Saadullah Ghori.
