ISLAMABAD - Former federal minister for Science & Technology Azam Swati on Thursday lashed out at Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, saying he was the most corrupt person in the 63-year history of Pakistan. Talking to media persons outside the Supreme Court, he said, "Both Zardari and Gilani are corrupt and dishonest persons, adding the latter has brought bad name to his parents by doing corruption". He foresaw the fall of the incumbent Government soon. Swati urged that the nation should launch jihad against the prevailing corruption in the country. He said that the Government tried its best to do corruption in his ministry but could not succeed due to his presence. Replying to a question about the ongoing Federal Investigation Agency's probe into the Haj scam, he maintained that the apex court was well aware that FIA would not unveil those involved in the Hajj corruption scandal, adding that the FIA's report on Haj scam was partial.
