WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Two packages exploded in the mailrooms of two Maryland state government buildings on Thursday, local media reported. There were conflicting reports on injuries. Baltimore broadcaster WBAL said the first explosion was in the mailroom of the Maryland Department of Transport headquarters in Hanover. The second blast occurred half an hour later in a building in Annapolis housing the Maryland Department of State. WBAL quoted a Maryland official as saying no one was injured, but other local media reported that at least one person and up to six were hurt in the blasts.
