MULTAN APP) - The continuous cold wave restricted outdoor movement of public and forced large number of people, especially children and women to stay indoor homes here on Sunday. The public was seen wearing warm clothes, blankets, caps, scarf and gloves at different bazaars and shops.

 The shopkeepers managed stove at the shops in order to beat severity of the weather. Similarly, playgrounds of the city also presented a deserted look as youngster preferred to stay inside homes instead of outdoor games. Suhaib, a shoes-shop owner, told this agency that there was remarkable reduction in number of customers due to the on-going winter spell. He observed that the cold wave had affected routine life in the city. He informed that the public was not visiting bazaar as it was observed in routine life.

Local Met office has forecast cold and dry weather with chances of mist in the morning for next 24 hours in the city and its suburbs.

The maximum and minimum temperature was recorded as 6.2 and 1.8 degree centigrade here on Sunday. Similarly, the humidity was observed as 100 percent at 8am and 92 percent 5pm.
