RAJANPUR - With the growing concern about the rising polio cases in the country, the EDO Health announced two-day anti-polio campaign from March 12,2012. During the drive as many as 2,37,000 children of five-year age group will be vaccinated.

While chairing a meeting here to review preparations for the anti-polio campaign, DCO Ghazi Amanullah instructed the Political Assistant Muhammad Arif Niazi to evolve a plan to provide complete security to the polio teams in the tribal areas. He also urged the Mepco to reduce loadshedding during the campaign to protect polio vaccine from decomposing. The DCO said that stern action would be taken against the inefficient staff, wherever a lapse was found it would be dealt accordingly.
