KARACHI - Families of 13 victims of the ill-fated plane crash incident that took place on Friday, are waiting for the DNA reports for the burial of their loved once. According to the reports, eight out of 21 victims of the plane crashed have been identified and their bodies were handed over to the families but the bodies of 13 other passengers which were gutted completely are kept at the mortuary for identification. Investigation officer SS Niaz Khoso said, We are waiting for the DNA reports to deliver the bodies of other victims. The body of 50-year-old Captain Naeemul Haq was received by his brother Khalilur Rehman. The deceased was retired as air force officer, resided in Askari-IV, the deceased was the father of three children. The body of another deceased Zafar Iqbal, 50; Sub-Inspector in Airport Security Force was received by his relative Abrar. The deceased hailed from District Gujjar Khan, Punjab. Iqbal was the father of four children and his body was sent to his native town. Meanwhile, the body of another deceased Mohammad Tahir working as an engineer, resided in the Model Colony was received by his brother Maqbool. The deceased belonged to District Narowal Punjab. Another deceased who was later identified as Co Captain Mohammad Noman Shamsi, resident of Block 2 Gulshan-e-Iqbal and father of three children. Another deceased identified as Saleem Uddin son of Allauddin was the resident of Shah Faisal Colony and he was the steward at Airline. Nisar Ahmed was the technician operator of Oil Company and hailed from Sukkur Sindh. The victim had recently returned from Italy. Similarly, another man identified as Sajid Rafiq engineer by profession, and hailed from Dera Ghazi Khan, was identified by his brother Kashif. Kashif said the victim was the father of three children. Another victim was identified as Azam Nizamani son of Murad was the operator of Oil Company, the victim had joined the oil company a few years before he was doing job in Union Texas. He hailed from Mirpur Mathilo, Sindh. Another body identified as Sadaqat was also handed over to the family for burial while the bodies of 13 other victims are kept in the mortuary and would be handed over after DNA testing.
