ISLAMABAD Ushna Suhail and Saba Aziz reached the final of the womens fixture of the 8th Subh-e-Nau National Hard Court Tennis Championship at Pakistan Sports Complex Tennis Courts on Saturday. Ushna Suhail downed top seed Sara Mahboob, who is daughter of a well-knowing tennis coach, in the first semi-final of the national tennis event. Ushna dominated the match and won 2-1. In the second semi-final, Saba Azizi shocked second seed Sara Mansoor in similar style. The score-line was 5-7, 6-1 and 6-3. Meanwhile, in mens singles, Jaleel Khan defeated veteran Hameedul Haq after a tough contest. Jaleel won this match by 2-1. Aqeel Khan and Jaleel Khan clinched doubles title by beating Yasir Khan and Tanveer Ashiq 2-0. In boys juniors U-18, Samir Iftikhar reached the final after beating Heera Ashiq in an easy contest. In boys U-18, Kashan-ul-Haq and Talal Almas reached final of Boys U-14. Results: Mens Singles (semi-final round): Jalil Khan beat Hamid-ul-Haq 6-2, 3-6, 6-1.
