KARACHI - Aurangzeb netted the equaliser for KESC in the closing minutes of the match to help his team play one all draw against NBP in the 9th Premier football league here at Aga Khan Gymkhana ground.

NBP had taken the lead midway through Misbah in the first session and Aurangzeb scored with two minutes remaining in the final whistle from KESC. In another match, Navy held on to its two goals advantage to beat host KPT 2-1 at the losers ground. Both the matches were played under slight drizzle of monsoon rains. Navy scored through Sajjad in 7th minute and Farhan 53rd minute. KPT got one back in 70th minute through Naveed Ahmed.  In other matches of the league played elsewhere in the country Muslim Football Club and Afghan Football Club one-one all draw at Sadiq Shaheed Football Stadium, Quetta. M Hanif scored for Muslim FC and Jadeen Khan equalized for Afghan FC.

Meanwhile, Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) started their campaign on a winning note as they edged out PAF 2-1 in the Ninth Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) 2012 here at Jinnah Football Stadium.

KRL took the lead in the ninth minute through midfielder Hasnain Abbas against 10-man PAF as their defender M Asif was shown red card in the 40th minute as the first half ended 1-0 in favour of KRL. KRL dominated the proceedings in the second half but failed to score/PAF scored equaliser in the 77th through striker Mujahid.

KRL defender Ihsanullah was then shown the yellow card for a foul. In the dying moment KRL defender Ihsanullah scored the goal that proved the winner.
