SARGODHA - Poultry Rate Control Committee Chairman Dr Tanvir Ashraf Kalyar said that due to better production and disease control, the broiler rate had declined while the current rate might be less in future.Reportedly, broiler meat has been provided to the masses on cheap prices yet the poultry farmers are facing losses due to the increase in the prices of diesel, feed and electricity tariff. Meanwhile, he added that the poultry feed factory owners had established monopoly and were raising rates unilaterally which had suffered poultry business adversely.  Poultry Rate Control Committee Chairman Dr Tanvir Ashraf Kalyar demanded the government take notice of the situation and impose a ban on maize export.
