Commissioner Capt (r) Sher Alam Mahsood has expresses confidence in the talent and potential of the young generation, saying that they will make the country strong, invincible and self-reliant for a progressive in accordance with the dreams of Allama Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

He was addressing 'Begum Nusrat Imdad Students' awards distribution ceremony to students who have achieved excellence in the examinations held by the boards and the universities during the year 2012 under the auspices of the Students Aid Co-operative Society Sahiwal held at District Council Hall here the other day.

The function was presided over by Students Aid Cooperative Society President Ch Imdad Ali Khan, while DPS Principal Big (r) Syed Anwarul Hassan Kirmani was guest of honour on the occasion.

He said that solution to the problem faced by the country laid in becoming true Pakistani.

Speaking on the occasion, the Society President Ch Imdad Ali said that society was helping the needy students to meet their education expenditure. He said that aim of the society was to build future of poor students.

Addressing on the occasion, educationist Sh Muhammad Omer said that co-curricular activities like speech, essay writing and art competitions, help to improve and increase self-confidence and creative activities among students.

Earlier, Vice President of the society highlighted objects of the society said that 2,880 students had been benefited and Rs13.7 million had been given as loan to the students so far.
