ISLAMABAD - Islamabad FA, Karachi Zone B and Nowshera Zone record victories while Lahore Zone and Gilgit/Baltistan played out a 1-1 draw in the National Under-14 Football Championship matches played here at Jinnah Stadium and Outer Ground, PSB on Tuesday.

In the first match of the day played at Ground 2, Outer Stadium, Islamabad FA thrashed Chaman Zone 3-0. Islamabad put Chaman Zone team under pressure from the beginning but failed to score in the early minutes of the match as Chaman Zone defence spoiled all of their scoring efforts. Islamabad took lead in the 25th minute through striker Ahsan on a solo effort while striker Shahryar doubled the lead in the 32nd minute. Islamabad started second half from where they left but they missed couple of scoring chances. Striker Hassan scored the third goal in the 62nd minute to put game beyond of Chaman Zone team. Thus Islamabad won the match 3-0..

In the second match at Jinnah Stadium, Karachi Zone B edged out KP 2-1 in a thriller, the match could have gone in either way as both teams played some wonderful soccer. 

Karachi Zone B got the early advantage through defender Rehan in the 7th minute on a powerful header on a corner.

Karachi striker Aamir doubled his advantage in the 25th minute KP boys never gave up and tried to put up a decent show and their hard work paid off in the 45th minute when midfielder Danish scored a stylish goal to reduce the margin.

Although both teams tried their level best to further make inroads in to each other's goal but none of them succeeded in scoring and game ended 2-1 in favour of Karachi Zone B team.

In the third match of the day played at Outer Ground 2, Nowshera Zone beat Balochistan 4-2. It was Balochistan who took a surprising lead in the 10th minute through striker Khalil. For Nowshera striker Umair scored the leveller for his team in the 12th minute while Wali scored in the 13th minute to make 2-0 for Nowshera.
