ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has called the meeting of the Council of Common Interest (CCI) today (Monday) to finalise the agenda for the upcoming meeting of Pakistan Development Forum due on Nov 14. In this meeting the world community would be asked to assist and provide financial support. Members of the council along with the chief ministers and federal ministers would also review the efforts so far made for rehabilitation of the flood-affected people. In the meeting, rehabilitation and reconstruction of the flood-affected areas would be discussed which had already been formulated with the help of Minister for Finance and Foreign Affairs respectively. The evaluation and survey report of the Asian Development Bank on the flood-affected areas would also be submitted in which $9.50 billion are expected to be raised. Immediate release of the funds would be demanded and the World community and relief organisations would be asked to assist in that respect.
