SUKKUR - Three persons were killed while four others were injured when driver of a passenger coach lost control of the vehicle and ran over three rickshaws and two motorcycles at city bypass within the limits of Airport police Station on Tuesday. According to Edhi Emergency Centre In-charge Gul Mahar, brakes of a passenger coach, proceeding to Rahimyar Khan from New Bus Terminal Sukkur, failed due to which driver lost control over it and it ran over three rickshaws and two motorcycles which were parked at city bypass area Sukkur.

However, driver of the coach escaped from the scene, while the coach was impounded by the police.

As a result, three persons, Bashir Ahmed Solangi, Zahid Shaikh and one other whose name could not be ascertained were killed on the spot, while four persons Adnan Mahar, Irfan, Ramesh Kumar and Bagoo were injured and shifted to a hospital where they were provided treatment.
