Federal Information and Broadcasting Minister Fawad Chaudhry said on Thursday that Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan’s visit to China was highly successful as several agreements and memorandums of understanding were signed between the two countries.

The information and broadcasting minister said that concerted efforts would be made to reform the institutions of the Information Ministry and bring them out of the mess created by the previous governments.

The minister was speaking to the media where he highlighted the matters discussed in the federal cabinet session. Chaudhry said that the cabinet had taken 120 decisions, out of which 72 were implemented.

He further said that only four decisions remained undecided despite passing of 72 days. The minister also said that for the purpose of implementation on decisions, the cabinet had given orders to relevant departments for immediate action.

Chaudhry said that a new board for Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan has been formed.
