LAHORE Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Ahmad Raza Tahir on Friday visited different public hospitals to inquire about the health of dengue-affected policemen, who were under medical treatment. According to an official handout, the city police chief visited Ganga Ram, Services, and Jinnah Hospital and remained with the affected policemen sometime and also prayed for their early recovery. On this occasion, Ahmad Raza Tahir said that the police had set up a blood camp in Police Lines Qilla Gujjar Singh, which was being operated by police personnel to donate blood to dengue affected patients. Capital City Police Officer further said that spray against dengue had been initiated on war-footings basis at all police stations, Police Lines and residences of Lahore Police, whereas, police offices were also being sprayed at rapid pace.
