ISLAMABAD - Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, has said that statement of General Kayani regarding 'no more military operations inside the countrys frontiers is completely in accordance with the unanimously adopted resolution at the recently held All Parties Conference. On Friday, talking to media persons outside the Parliament House, Nisar said that his party, PML-N, would continue its protest against power outages when National Assembly session resumes on Monday. He said that now it is established that the current electricity crisis was deepened owing to the inefficiency of the rulers, as ground realities in this connection were otherwise. PML-N will ask the Prime Minister on Monday that what will be governments strategy when Rs 10 billion, it has released to pacify power crisis in the country, will be utilised, he added. He said that the apex courts judgement on Karachi situation would have far-reaching consequences and his party would force the government to ensure its implementation. The SC verdict is evident to the fact that federal as well as Sindh governments are equally responsible for law and order situation in financial hub of the country, Nisar said. For the first time, PML-N agreed with President Zardaris statement that he (Zardari) knows better how to do politics, as Mr president is well familiar with the politics of give and take and compromises, he said. Taking former President to account, Nisar said, Pervez Musharraf compromised on the countrys sovereignty and now the incumbent regime was also following into his footprints. He said that the only solution to stop drone strikes inside Pakistan was the implementation of already passed resolution of the Parliament on the issue, as protests could not yield the desired results.
