LAHORE The Bonded Labour Liberation Front Pakistan (BLLF) organised seminar The role of stakeholders to eliminate the bonded labour in connection with World Day of Decent Work at Lahore Press club on Friday. Mahar Safdar Ali and Syeda Ghulam Fatima of BLLF introduced the objectives of world day for decent work to the participants. They said the seminar was aimed at to create awareness on social injustices and legal protection among the bonded labourers. While speaking to the audience guest speakers emphasised on the process of mind change of all the stakeholders when it came to the social change. On the occasion, District Labour Officer Sheikh Sabbir Hussain, Saif-ul-allah Darwaish, Asma Rehman, Robina Jamil, Altaf Hussain Balouch were the speakers. The speakers assured the labourers would join hands with them in order to facilitate them for their rights and to get the relevant authorities on board to bring a remarkable change in the lives of the labourers. Bonded Labour Liberation Front Pakistan demanded social protection and decent work for bonded labour and brick kilns workers. Implement on the labour laws, and respect the minimum wags. Secured all brick kiln workers in the fold of social security.
