Muslim League-J chief Hamid Nasir Chattha has said that the rage vented by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zafdari would prove to be futile as the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People’s Party were two sides of the same coin.

He said that his party had not started contacts with other political parties including the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in connection with the upcoming local government elections.

He said that his party may not make seat adjustment or political alliance with the other parties.

He said that negotiations for a large alliance will remain continue between the Muslim League factions.

Chattha stated that his party will not be a big party after unification because only a few factions may gather primarily.

"The unification of Muslim leagues is my wish but it needs some sacrifices. Ch Shujaat and Zulfiqar Khosa are big political leaders," he said. The ongoing rift between the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz and PPP will make no difference while Asif Zardari's statement will remain meaningless.
