Sagacity on diplomatic level demands an increase in the number of friends, as this would be in the best interest of our country instead of working for fair weather friends-cum-foes. In this age of regionalisation, extending friendly ties, with regional countries, would definitely yield, economic, diplomatic and security gains. By following this policy, the region can be made strong to increase trade and peace. The recent agreement between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, on atomic energy, shipping and disaster management is a good-omen for both countries. Pakistan should bring such positive and progress-based diplomatic changes in its foreign policy.
